JPool Validator Dashboard (Android): Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how mFactory GmbH (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information when you use the JPool Validator Dashboard mobile application (the “App”). By using the App, you agree to this Policy.

1. What this policy covers

This Policy applies to the Android App only. It describes what data the App transmits or stores, how we use it, how long we keep it, and your choices.

2. Data we collect or receive

We designed the App to minimize data. The App does not collect analytics, crash logs, or server access logs, and it does not operate background collection when not in use.

We handle the following limited data:

• Push Notification Token: A token issued by Google/Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) so we can deliver the alerts you enable.
• Selected Alert Types for Specific Validators: The alert categories you choose per validator (e.g., commission changes, delinquency, unsupported/wrong client version, SFDP stake changes).
• Installation Identifier (installationId): A pseudonymous ID generated at first launch and used to associate your alert settings with your installation.
• App Set ID (Android): Used only for essential app operations (e.g., associating your installation and notifications). We do not use App Set ID for ads personalization or ads measurement, and we do not link it to advertising identifiers for advertising purposes.

We do not collect: analytics events (screens/taps), crash logs, IP addresses or user-agent server logs, contacts, location, camera/microphone data, SMS/call data, device lists, or financial/government ID data.

3. How we use the data

• Deliver push notifications you opt into (using the push token, installationId, and your chosen alert types).
• Operate and maintain the notification feature of the App (e.g., routing alerts to the correct device/installation).

We do not sell personal or sensitive user data. We do not use your data for advertising or profiling.

4. Data sharing

• Service providers: We use Google/Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) to deliver push notifications. The push token is shared with FCM solely for delivering notifications.
• No other processors/countries: Other than FCM, we do not transfer the above data to third-party processors.
• Legal compliance: We may disclose information if required by applicable law or to protect our rights, users, or the Service.

5. Data retention and deletion

• Push tokens: Kept while active. When you uninstall the App, the token becomes inactive and is deleted.
• Alert selections (per validator): Retained indefinitely and associated with your installationId.
• Inactivity: We do not automatically delete data after a period of inactivity.

Your choices:

• You can disable notifications at any time in the App or device settings.
• Uninstalling the App removes the push token.
• Because the App has no user account, standard account-deletion tools do not apply.

6. Security

We use TLS/HTTPS for data transmission and apply reasonable technical and organizational measures appropriate to the nature of the Service. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

7. Children and age requirements

The App is intended for users 18 years and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided information via the App, please contact us at info@jpool.one.

8. Third-party services and SDKs

The App interoperates with:

• JPool API (data displayed in the App)
• Expo SDK (runtime framework)
• Google/Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) (push delivery).

Your use of these components may be subject to their respective terms and policies. This Policy governs our handling of data within the App.

9. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide in-app notice or other reasonable notice. The updated Policy is effective on the date shown above.
